In fact, I've noticed a few too many toos in my life. Example: I biked too much and my neck hurt for too weeks. : ) My plan is to go kayaking today or tomorrow, and we should all know by now that I will do too much, and that the painful outcome is all too predictable. Madelane called me a Level 3 on some kind of pychological profile scale- with 3 being for the dummies who cannot profit from experience. Thanks Madelane.
Work is actually great. I am enthused. I had two days of indoctrination this week (they called it orientation), and this was followed by a day and a half of team visioning and goal-setting. Normally, this is where my cynicism SHINES forth, but I have been magically transported into another dimension and am having fun.
And yes, Kate came out at last, and we had fabulous times as always. There was beaching, ball throwing, breakfasts out, and your basic revitalization of spirits. You may have seen me a little wound up, once or twice... I was an unsolvable Gordian knot by the time I picked her up at the airport. And shaking like a leaf. Before long, my spirit felt like it was basking on a hot slab of Joshua Tree desert rock.
Ah, love.
