I have been reading the moving vanline's literature. They recommend labelling the contents of every box, indicating the room the box should go to, and (the kicker!) there should be stickers posted in each room, indicating the room name. ha HA!

I think we can agree now, it's just an indicator of my innate exceptional abilities to scope out a problem and come up with the perfect solution. Yeah. Take that. I should write in with one final tip I found useful- Sticky notes on the walls, indicating where bookshelves, chairs, and what-not should be placed. Tremendously
useful... people just need direction to be happy and efficient contributors.
I've been ruthlessly removing anything from my life that hasn't been trotted out and used in the last year. That equals a lot of stuff, and quite a few Value-Village trips. This morning, I took Dallas to a park, and while she happily chewed on a stick, I was perched on a swingset, eyes closed, swinging back and forth, mouth open to falling snow- such a beautiful start to the day, coloured only by the bathing the dog part. Repeated requests have finally registered, and I suppose that a pre road-trip bath would be most useful. Frankly, we could both probably benefit from a bath.
