La la la! I am road-tripping!!!
My current 10-20 is Quetico Provincial Park. It is so gorgeous!!!! I've basically been drifting from park to park, checking out waterfalls and hiking canyons as the spirit moved me. It's a nice change. I'm just about at the point where I am grinning all the time, even when I drag myself over to yet another campsite, and have to put it all up and tear it all down again next morning. Quetico is a magical place, utterly different from all that came before. I knew I was in for something great when the drive in to the park office already had me staring intently at the foliage. Kids, this is a boreal forest! Look at those Jack Pines!
Rumours are true. I now own a shiney red kayak, with loads of storage and 15 feet of sleek and smooooth moving. To go with it, I bought a spifty nifty ergonomic carbon super paddle, that literally hurls itself into approaching water and eats it, spitting it out and then diving in for more. Despite this, I hurt everywhere. But it is a good kinda hurt. :D I am mountain-biking to my heart's content, actually eating fairly well, and running into nice people who are somehow also not being productive. This is a cool club I've finally found.
For those wishing to reach me, please call! I'm at 519-635-1120. I actually have an operating cell phone again. I'm doing this trip solo, so getting a howdy along the way would be a very very nice thing.
I didn't think to call anyone who happens to live out West, but I will hopefully either contact you, or hear from you. I'll spend until Saturday morning at Quetico, and then I'm headed to Winnipeg. I have no idea when I'll get to BC, since I have no time limit on this trip. How good does it feel to say that?!!
Anyway, that's all for now. Love to my friends, blah blah blah, and poo on those who ain't my friends.
More as I can -
