fly me to the moon

2 days in France, jet-lagged, but appreciative. I've already walked around half this city.

Taking pictures of beautiful things is easier in Paris than in the Canada. For one thing, architecture is not as skittish as wildlife, so if you happen upon something, it doesn't run before you can grab your camera. Second thing- great architecture, amazing bronzes, statues, marble is EVERYWHERE. North America is a naked bovine in comparison. Who knew? I really like cows, but I'm just saying we could have more variety.

Here are some shots of the Arc, the Eiffel tower district, and the Beaux Artes and Petite Palace. The bridge and arc both commemorate Napolean's triumphs.

enjoy!
